On behalf of the Children, Staff and Board of Management,
welcome to the website of St. Patrick’s Primary School.
We are a co-ed Catholic School founded in 2007 and catering for children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. We started life in the Old St. Wolstan’s Convent on the Dublin Road and in September 2008, we took up residence in a our new school building at the GAA Grounds on Hazelhatch Road. This is an architect designed pre-fabricated school and will be our home while awaiting relocation to our permanent site.
Our new school site was purchased in 2009 and in January 2011, we received approval from the Department of Education to begin the process of appointing a design team who will progress the project through the various stages of architectural planning.
The long-term plans include the provision of a multi-school campus arrangement with a co-educational second level school in the Hazelhatch area.
The school commenced with an enrolment of 81 pupils and we have now grown to over 250 children and a staff of sixteen teachers.
The first four years have been a fantastic journey. Involvement in the foundation and development of a new school is a great privilege and an exciting opportunity for all.
The life of the school is driven by enthusiasm and a desire to achieve and we will endeavour to make St. Patrick’s a successful place of learning.
We look forward to working in co-operation with parents and hope that together, we can provide the best for every child.
